Understanding Creatine HCI

”Reading 2 ”minutes”

This short article/blog isn’t intended to be an exhaustive discussion on the merits of creatine HCL, but more of an introduction. Assuming that you don’t know anything about creatine, by the end, you will have a topical understanding of the merits of the hcl type. At least enough to better understand the next article.

Creatine is a naturally occurring compound that is present in foods like red meat and produced in the body as well. It is stored in muscle tissue and utilized as a source of energy during intense exercise. Energy is regenerated between sets of exercises.

Supplementing with creatine, increases the amount of available creatine phosphate stored in muscles, which can help to improve performance during high-intensity, short-duration activities such as weightlifting and sprinting. One of the most notable and desired effects of creatine supplementation includes increased anaerobic strength, muscle size, and overall body weight.

CON-CRET® from ProMera Sports is a branded and patented form of creatine hcl that is marketed as a more concentrated form of creatine. It is a dietary supplement that is commonly used by athletes and bodybuilders to enhance their performance, and increase muscle strength, size, and endurance.

The launch of CON-CRET® ushered in the era of micro-dosing. Meaning, rather than consuming the traditional dose of 5g of creatine monohydrate one could reduce that dose to 750mg per 100 pounds of body weight.

By delivering a smaller and far more soluble and faster-acting form of creatine, it is purported that CON-CRET® delivers all of the same desired benefits as the popular monohydrate form of creatine but without the undesired effects, i.e., bloating, constipation, etc.

CON-CRET® is available in powder or capsule form under the ProMera brand as well as a bonus ingredient in a number of well-respected pre-workout formulas.

Disclaimer:
Creatine/CON-CRET® and other dietary supplements should not be used as a replacement for a healthy diet and regular exercise. It is always recommended to speak with a healthcare professional before taking any dietary supplement, particularly if you have any pre-existing medical conditions or are taking any medications.
